What does the role entail?

As the Senior Mixologist, you will collaborate closely with the Beverage Manager and fellow bartenders to guarantee the quality of beverages and a comprehensive understanding of all available drink offerings. You will contribute to the creation of seasonal cocktail menus, lead informative training sessions, and assist management with beverage procurement and inventory management. Your role will be pivotal in crafting a welcoming and unforgettable experience by serving guests expertly prepared beverages while sharing cocktail inspiration and historical context. You will ensure product consistency by adhering to our meticulously designed recipes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Beverage Manager in the recruitment and training of new bartending staff
  • Assist with inventory management, beverage ordering, pricing, and product selection
  • Oversee all bar operations, including quality control, presentation, service times, dietary restrictions, and special requests
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all recipes, products, and production methods
  • Establish and uphold a clean, organized bar environment in accordance with brand standards; restock items as necessary throughout your shift
  • Foster teamwork by assisting colleagues with guest interactions and bar responsibilities to promote a positive work atmosphere
  • Effectively and proactively address guest concerns
  • Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining open communication with management and fellow service staff regarding next steps
  • Consistently adhere to the uniform policy
  • Arrive on time for shifts and manage your responsibilities, communicating with management when stepping away for breaks or meals

Requirements:
  • Availability on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) is essential
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must possess a Cobb County Pouring License or plan to obtain one prior to employment
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant bartending experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Able to lift and move heavier products
  • Capable of standing for extended periods; occasionally kneeling, bending, and crouching as necessary to access items at various heights
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with composure and efficiency
