Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Engage in cardiovascular operating room activities, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Handle common cases such as CABG, TAVR, Valves, Impella, and IABP.
- Participate in scrubbing duties for both cardiovascular and main OR cases.
- Be available for charge nurse responsibilities as required.
- Collaborate with OR techs to maintain operational efficiency.
- Document patient care electronically using the Epic system.
- Flexible scheduling with potential for 12-hour shifts, subject to management approval.
- Availability for most weeknight calls and every 3rd or 5th weekend calls, with a call response time of 30 minutes.
- Provide assistance in the main OR if no cases are scheduled in the CVOR.
- Participate in a unit/department-specific orientation for 1-2 shifts.
- Scrubs are provided by the facility.
- Adherence to a cancellation policy that allows for cancellation of shifts as per contract guidelines.
