Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team in the Oncology department. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide total comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families, based on individual needs and physician orders.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating the patient's physical, psychological, and socioeconomic status.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Support and incorporate the ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, North Carolina Board of Nursing Practice Act, and WakeMed's Division of Nursing Professional Practice model.
Requirements
  • 1 year of nursing experience, with 1 year of oncology experience preferred.
  • Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing, with a valid RN license.
  • Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification within 90 days of hire.
Work Schedule

Days (7a-7p), with every 3rd weekend. As needed call requirements.
