As a Welder at ATI, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting dimensional drawings and sketches. You will make necessary layout and follow welding procedures to obtain maximum weld strength. You will also follow welding procedures and techniques best suited to obtain proper penetration and weld strength in accordance with code certifications, alignment, and inspection requirements. Additionally, you will set up and operate all types of welding equipment and use various tools such as crescent wrenches, open-end wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, chisels, and wire brushes.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret dimensional drawings and sketches
- Make necessary layout and follow welding procedures to obtain maximum weld strength
