Supervision:

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will operate under the guidance of the Facilities Technician, who will provide general instructions and oversee compliance with established procedures.

Guidelines:

Work will be conducted in accordance with agency policies, building codes, and other specific regulations that may require interpretation.

Job Complexity:

This position encompasses a variety of maintenance tasks aimed at the efficient operation of agency facilities.

Interactions:

Engage with colleagues, agency staff, vendors, contractors, and the public to share information, address issues, and deliver services.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

The role involves physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, and lifting, with occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Appropriate safety equipment may be necessary.

Management Responsibilities:

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in relevant maintenance roles
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
