About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Michigan City, IN. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, X-rays, and fluoroscopy
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other radiologic technologists, to ensure high-quality patient care
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, X-ray machines, and fluoroscopy units
- Develop and implement patient care plans, including education and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including peer review and continuing education
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography or CT
- 1-2 years of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients and equipment
