The Medical Writer is a key member of the Clinical Affairs team at Cardinal Health. This role involves researching, creating, editing, and coordinating clinical documents, with a focus on high-quality reports that support medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Developing comprehensive clinical evaluation reports (CERs) and post-market surveillance summaries">
  • Performing gap assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements">
  • Collaborating with internal teams to gather cross-functional inputs and approvals">
  • Managing CER project plans and timelines">
  • Conducting literature searches to support assigned product lines">
  • Applying global regulations and guidelines, as well as Cardinal Health policies and procedures">

Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; Master's degree or PhD preferred">
  • Minimum 2 years of medical writing experience; proven experience performing literature reviews, analyzing data, and communicating outputs">
  • Experience working within a medical device or pharmaceutical organization in a Research & Development, Scientific and Medical Affairs, Clinical, or Regulatory role">
  • Strong scientific writing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint">
  • Data extraction and analysis skills, with the ability to work independently and manage job responsibilities proactively">
  • Analytical thinking and an inquisitive mindset">
