Veterinary Technician

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Critical Care team. As a critical care specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our veterinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and care for critically ill patients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient histories and SOAP notes.
- Provide nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing laboratory procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct patient rounds, monitoring patient progress and making recommendations for care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and compassionate updates on patient status and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification or equivalent experience in a veterinary setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
