Employee Communications Specialist

">This role plays a vital part in the Employee Experience and Communications department, which is part of Human Resources at Wynn Las Vegas. The team's mission is to deliver exceptional service to employees, communicate internal information effectively, and create engaging events that celebrate company values and initiatives.
">The Internal Communications Coordinator provides administrative support to the employee communications team, ensuring timely distribution and tracking of all employee communications.
">- Audit and publish content on the WIRE, our employee intranet site.
- Distribute and audit Wynn's property-wide daily pre-shift messaging, called WE Shift.
- Manage Wynn's storytelling program, called WE Stories, including vetting, tracking, and maintenance.
- Schedule photo and video shoots for the department.
- Track department project requests.
- Order and track department office supplies.
- Maintain department budget logs.
- Assist at Staff Services Center and with employee events as needed.
- Interview employees to develop stories showcasing Wynn's Core Values, Behaviors, and Actions.
- Craft, publish, and manage calendars for internal company communications, including Today at Wynn | Encore, WIRE news, and alerts.
- Maintain WIRE/employee app kiosks and corresponding printers.
- Ensure all communications align with company culture, standards, and values.
Collaborate closely with the Employee Experience & Communications Assistant Director.
">Requirements:
">- Bachelor's or associate's degree in Communications, Writing, English, or a related field, or 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Superior communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Additional language skills a plus, but not required.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Flexibility to work occasional early morning hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Capacity to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Prior experience with social media apps and ability to adapt to new platforms.
Salary Range:$45,000 - $60,000 per year
