Role Description:

We are in search of a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Catheterization. This role requires a skilled clinician with extensive experience in patient care, possessing a deep understanding of the specific needs of cardiac patients. The ideal candidate will utilize their knowledge, research, and practical experience to adapt to evolving clinical scenarios. This nursing professional will implement the Synergy Model for Care, tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each patient and their family while serving as a resource for colleagues and a strong advocate for patient welfare.

  • Provides safe, reliable, and effective care to patients, independently employing the nursing process
  • Applies the Synergy Model for Care to customize care for each patient and their family
  • Engages in respectful and effective communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team
  • Accurately documents the nursing process in the appropriate formats (e.g., electronic records, clinical pathways)
  • Incorporates patient and family input into care planning
  • Assesses patient responses to care and modifies the care plan as necessary
  • Identifies patient needs and advocates based on clinical knowledge
  • Considers cultural differences in building relationships with patients and families

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years, or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
  • BLS certification is required; ACLS certification may be necessary in specific departments
  • Current LPNs within the Emory Healthcare system transitioning to RN roles may be eligible for the Nurse Clinician title while completing the Resident program
