Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse to join our team at Medical Solutions. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in labor and delivery nursing.
Unit Description

The labor and delivery unit at Medical Solutions is a high-risk obstetrics unit with 15 labor beds and 6 beds in the obstetric emergency department. We specialize in caring for patients with complex medical and obstetric conditions, including high-risk pregnancies and postpartum complications.

The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Stork and Periwatch fetal monitoring systems. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and support, and we are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.

Schedule and Shifts

We offer a variety of shift options, including 12-hour days and nights, with opportunities for floating within the maternal module to postpartum and NICU units. Required call is one shift per schedule period.
