Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with daily tasks, including feeding, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Assist clients with active and passive mobility work, as defined by the plan of care.
  • Document observed changes to the Director of Nursing.
  • Meet the requirements for a Home Health Aide Program, including a minimum of one year of documented healthcare experience and a high school diploma or GED.
  • Hold a certified CPR certification and a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Be a licensed driver with an insured automobile.
  • Be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, with varied assistance depending on the client's mobility.
