GENERAL OVERVIEW:

  • Responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with established manuals and military guidelines. The primary focus will be on Beechcraft A200C models, also known as TC-12 or C-12 aircraft. Duties include maintaining, repairing, or replacing avionics, electrical systems, instruments, and subsystems, as well as the installation, upkeep, modification, and repair of sophisticated electronic devices. The technician will troubleshoot and perform maintenance tasks on the flight line to meet customer needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adheres to documented maintenance and logistics protocols.
  • Follows FAA regulations as applicable.
  • Records aircraft discrepancies in compliance with approved maintenance procedures and contractual obligations.
  • Maintains a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Performs tasks such as component replacement, wiring circuit repairs, and simple electronic equipment repairs.
  • Utilizes common testing instruments, including digital multi-meters, signal generators, ohm meters, bonding meters, and milli-ohm meters for troubleshooting and testing.
  • Experience with Druck Pitot static systems and operation, IFR series test sets, and various ramp test sets, including transponder interrogators for NAV, VOR, ADS-B, and communication systems.
  • Required to interpret blueprints, construct wire bundles, install wire bundles, operate electronic testing equipment, prepare aircraft for flight line inspections, troubleshoot aircraft electronics, and determine corrective actions for fault isolation.
  • Conducts maintenance, authorized modifications, and operational checks on equipment.
  • Repairs, replaces, and performs operational and preventive checks and alignments on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics, and electrical systems.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possession of a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate is preferred.
  • Valid General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) is preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of overall experience and three (3) years of recent hands-on experience with airframe and powerplant on fixed-wing aircraft is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of hands-on experience with King Air is desired.
  • Graduates of U.S. Navy or Air Force Electrical Avionics training are preferred.
  • Must provide personal hand tools.
