Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to lead our esophageal disease program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to focus on esophageal disease and lead the GI aspect of our regional esophageal swallowing disorders program.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the esophageal disease program and oversee an existing esophageal motility lab that offers leading-edge diagnostics.
- Develop and lead related programs in Barrett's esophagus and endobariatrics.
- Collaborate with a collegial 23-physician GI group comprised of general GIs, hepatologists, IBD subspecialists, and advanced endoscopists.
- Teach and mentor fellows and residents in our strong GI fellowship and Internal Medicine residency programs.
- Contribute to clinical research and innovation in the field of gastroenterology.
