Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled laborer to join our team in Milledgeville, GA. As a laborer, you will work under the direct supervision of the jobsite foreman, superintendent, and project manager to perform tasks involving physical labor.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily tool inspection checks and report any malfunctions to the immediate supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness at the jobsite and ensure tools are clean, properly shut down, and stored at the end of the shift.
- Adhere to corporate safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Use tools in a safe manner to minimize the risk of injury and property damage.
- Wear all company required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required by the supervisor.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.
- Must be able to listen, follow directions, and communicate effectively with others.
- Must be able to wear mandatory Personal Protective Equipment, including steel-toed boots, safety vest, hard hat, eye protection, and hearing protection.
- Must possess knowledge of tools, equipment, and workplace safety.
- Must demonstrate skills in communications and teamwork.
- Must be able to lift, pull, and manage heavy equipment and objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work outdoors in exposure to extreme heat and cold.
- Must be able to take company required precautions to be protected from irritants due to possible exposure to eye, nose, and skin irritants.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time, and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
