We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Medication Aide to support our vibrant community.
Position: Certified Medication Aide, Shift: 6 am to 2 pm
As a vital member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to our residents in a clean and comfortable environment. Under the guidance of a Licensed Nurse, your duties will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities (ADLs).
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic living space for residents.
- Ensuring residents receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
- Promptly reporting any changes in resident conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
- Adhering to infection control protocols and standard precautions.
- Documenting resident progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Current state registration as a Certified Medication Aide is required.
- Basic understanding of communication techniques, safety protocols, and age-related care considerations.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English effectively.
- Completion of annual training is mandatory.
- One year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
