Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians and other cardiovascular lab personnel in preparing the Cath Lab room for procedures. Your expertise will be essential in recognizing cardiac pressure forms recorded and cardiac thermodynamics parameters, performing cardiac thermodynamic calculations, and reporting any abnormal values to the physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in clearing and preparing the Cath Lab room for procedures
  • Recognize and record cardiac pressure forms and cardiac thermodynamics parameters
  • Perform cardiac thermodynamic calculations and report abnormal values to the physician
  • Review and update procedures logs immediately after each procedure
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification
  • State Registered Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree in a related field
