Position Overview
We are actively seeking a seasoned Lead Hydrology Engineer to contribute to our projects. Our diverse clientele includes various state and local agencies, providing a rich environment for professional growth. The selected candidate will collaborate with multiple offices on projects across different regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic (H/H) analyses and design drainage systems.
  • Develop stormwater management (SWM) strategies and erosion/sediment control (ESC) plans, primarily for transportation-related projects.
  • Prepare environmental permits and contract documentation.
  • Perform quality control and peer reviews of engineering work.
  • Support marketing initiatives and business development efforts.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.C.E) with at least 15 years of relevant experience in hydrology, hydraulics, drainage, SWM, and ESC design.
  • Must hold a Pennsylvania Professional Engineer license.
  • Proven experience in designing drainage and stormwater management systems, with familiarity in working with state agencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of PennDOT and PA Turnpike specifications, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficient in H/H design software such as HY-8, NRCS (TR-55/TR-20), HydroCAD, StreamStats, and HEC-RAS.
  • Hands-on experience with MicroStation CADD software; knowledge of 3D design tools like OpenRoads Designer is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineering personnel.
  • Strong reputation as a professional engineer and project manager.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Positive demeanor and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
