Nursing Leadership Role Description

As an RN Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for promoting, restoring, and maintaining the health and wellbeing of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with residents and their families, focusing on their physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Establish resident care goals, teach resident/family members to understand a resident's condition, medication, and self-care skills.
• Monitor resident clinical and care conditions, identify changes, and act on them to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Virginia.
• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience in caring for seniors or seniors with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, internet, and web applications experience.
• Electronic medical record experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
