As a Physical Therapist on our team, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Key Responsibilities- Assume responsibility for the care of patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs, and orient staff and students as needed.
- Assess patients' needs, identify and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions, and work collaboratively with other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Observe and evaluate treatment effectiveness, accomplish short and long-term goals, and recommend changes to physicians as needed.
- Perform accurate and timely QI scoring, and assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function or participation in rehabilitation.
- Formulate and update patient-specific plans of care for physical therapy, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
- Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR Card.
