About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional legal services to our clients, including corporate transactional work, litigation, and bankruptcy and tax expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients, advisors, opposing counsel, courts, and other interested parties.
  • Supervise and assist the firm's qualified staff and professionals in evaluating the client's overall financial, tax, and legal position.
  • Assist clients in determining realistic goals and designing strategies to accomplish those goals.
  • Provide excellent legal services, including legal research, drafting petitions, schedules, motions, pleadings, orders, and status updates.
  • Represent clients at mediations, negotiations, depositions, and in court.
  • Conduct new client meetings for the purpose of selling legal services.
Requirements
  • At least two years of corporate transactional experience or litigation experience.
  • Prefer Attorney with 8+ years experience.
  • Admitted to practice in Iowa or eligible to waive into Iowa.
