Position Overview

A dedicated healthcare facility is in search of full-time and part-time Healthcare Support Specialists. Our organization operates around the clock, providing continuous care to our patients. You will collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure exceptional patient support.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient assistance under the supervision of nursing personnel
  • Facilitate patient transfers and discharge processes
  • Monitor and record vital signs
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
  • May be tasked with drawing and processing blood samples
  • Conduct regular patient rounds
  • Assist during meal times
  • Perform searches in accordance with approved guidelines

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in nursing, patient care, or similar roles
  • Completion of a nursing assistant or medical assistant training program
  • Ability to establish rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude
  • Experience in mental health or substance abuse settings is a plus
  • Proficient in computer usage
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment
