Job Summary

The Boston Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Pediatrics team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and coordination in our outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and address complex patient needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on current ambulatory therapies and research to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree or Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN). BSN preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing or ability to obtain reciprocity license prior to start.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification required. PALS/ACLS certification preferred.
  • Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty certification required for certain practice areas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years inpatient pediatric experience.
  • 1-2 years experience in ambulatory clinic/outpatient or diagnostic testing setting.
  • PIV care and management for pediatric and adult population (if applicable to role).
  • Knowledge of population health and relevance to practice.
  • Experience with care coordination and transitions of care as related to ambulatory practice.
