Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Compute pay according to company policy and union contract, compile and prepare payroll data, process payroll deductions, and interpret company policies and government regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare government reports, review payroll to ensure accuracy, determine work procedures, and prepare work schedules.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Perform balance sheet reconciliations, daily cash balance analysis, and accounts payable backup duties.
  • Depreciation and Capital Budgeting: Perform depreciation, capital budget, and credit card backup duties.
  • Other Accounting Tasks: Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: UltiPro payroll experience is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, and ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of database software; UltiPro or equivalent payroll system.
  • Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional preferred.
