About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team at FIS. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining the critical server infrastructure that enables us to advance the way the world pays, banks, and invests.

You will be responsible for deploying new technologies, ensuring system performance, and proposing and implementing system enhancements. Additionally, you will monitor system usage and performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with hardware and software upgrades or repairs.

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of multiple iSeries (Power8, Power9, and Power10) operating systems and related utilities and hardware. Experience with OS upgrades and third-party software upgrades in a replication environment using MIMIX is also required.

Strong experience and knowledge of MIMIX, BRMS, and configuration of external Tape Media Libraries are essential. Experience with storage management, TCP/IP, network monitoring, and tools is also necessary. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience is required.
