POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and managing cash transactions in a retail setting.

This role is expected to exemplify the company's values by providing outstanding service to customers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Demonstrated history of achieving excellent outcomes, showcasing determination and resilience;

  • Clearly articulates and upholds standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions, and food safety;
  • Ensures that all performance goals as a Retail Associate are met;
  • Participates in training sessions for Retail Associates and adheres to policies regarding various transactions;
  • Follows established procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellations, and all saved recall transactions;
  • Accountable for personal productivity as a Retail Associate;
  • Adheres to compliance procedures;
  • Responsible for the presentation of the front end, including cleanliness, organization, and personal appearance;
  • Performs other store-related duties as required.

Customer Engagement:

  • Exemplifies personal customer service excellence. Engages with customers consistently;
  • Enhances the speed and efficiency of service delivery.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in customer service and retail is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The physical demands and work environment outlined below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Some requirements may be adjusted to accommodate individuals with disabilities:



*WALKING: Required continuously throughout the shift while navigating the store and handling merchandise.

*STANDING: Required continuously throughout the shift.
*LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
