Position Overview:
The Exercise Specialist will apply clinical expertise and advanced knowledge in exercise science to develop evaluation tools for the clinical practices of the department and its programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review patient medical history and determine appropriate testing protocols.
2. Explain testing procedures to patients and monitor their vital signs during exercise.
3. Collect and summarize data from diagnostic studies, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
4. Maintain professional practice standards, clinical competence, and daily operations of the department.
Requirements:
1 Year of experience in fitness or clinical exercise required. 1 Year of clinical experience in cardiac rehabilitation preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or Physical Education required. Master's degree in Exercise Science or Physical Education preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist required.
Work Schedule:
Flexible schedule with no weekend requirements.
Call Requirements:
No call requirements.
