Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for providing guidance on personnel EHS matters, developing and implementing EHS programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS programs and policies to protect employees, facilities, and the environment.
  • Conduct hazard assessments, risk analyses, and develop controls to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Implement high-hazard control measures, including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and electrical safety.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training on various topics, including hazard communication, contractor safety, and emergency response.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS compliance and conformance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of EHS experience, or equivalent experience with an advanced safety certification.
  • Proven experience in implementing EHS regulations, conducting incident investigations, and interacting with regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent communication, training, and consultation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
