Infusion Nurse

The Infusion Center RN will provide direct patient care in the Outpatient Infusion Center setting to patients across the lifespan. This role requires a strong understanding of the nursing process and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent care that reflects compassion, initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectation.
- Act as a resource and mentor for new and inexperienced nurses as needed.
- Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs.
- Maintain open lines of communication with the patient, physician, pharmacy, and medical director.
- Communicate with physician/nurse manager/co-workers as appropriate about changes in a patient's clinical condition.
- Use critical thinking skills and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Current Montana License as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification required.
- Continued education/competencies required yearly or as needed.
- Ability to achieve cognitive, organization, and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficult situations, and/or customers.
- Possesses interpersonal/communication skills necessary for effective, non-judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer relations.
