About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at The Residence at Quarry Hill, a senior living community in South Burlington, VT. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and approved menus.
  • Ensure that all food is received, stored, and prepared according to company standards.
  • Estimate daily or weekly needs of food and supplies and communicate needs to food service director or assistant food service director.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
  • Work closely with the Culinary Services Director and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment.
  • Serve Safe Certification.
