About the Role

Glanbia Performance Nutrition is seeking a highly skilled Material Handler II to join our manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. As a Material Handler II, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving goods, loaded pallets, and equipment in our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, move, count/pick, stack, and stage product and materials using a stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, regular reach truck, and material handling equipment as required.
  • Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner, following work methods and OSHA standards.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately pull and prepare product for use in production or for shipment, completing documentation correctly using RF scanners.
  • Quality Control: Inspect all materials during picking, shipping, and receiving to ensure product number accuracy and material is free of damage, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and promoting the safety of the warehouse, reporting issues and problems to management.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 6 months of sit-down, reach, and stand-up forklift experience.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lift up to 55 lbs. on an occasional basis 6 inches off the ground to waist, and carry up to 55 lbs. on an occasional basis up to 5 ft.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to pull a 55-lb. bag from a height of 60 inches on an occasional basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in Food Environment: Experience in a food environment or consumer product industry.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using WMS or ERP systems with RF scanning a plus.
