Job Overview:

Kroger is seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an integral part of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical systems within our stores are functioning properly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical repair and maintenance, with experience working on commercial electrical systems. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This position comes with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Description:
  • Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, including audits and repairs, to ensure store equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Drive company vehicles to stores, utilizing navigation and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical system issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used and labor hours.
  • Provide input to supervisors regarding maintenance best practices and suggest improvements to existing procedures.
  • Clean and maintain company service vehicles, as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and maintenance staff to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; OR High school diploma with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in commercial electrical repair and maintenance, with knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn company software.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
