Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance repairs, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Assist with the make-ready process and respond to resident service requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance programs and ensure the upkeep of all equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor, Property Manager, and Regional Manager to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Formal training or experience in carpentry, light plumbing work, light electrical work, painting, appliance repair, pool maintenance, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HVAC certification.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.

Work Environment: This is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. The successful candidate will be required to travel independently within the community and have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage at all times.
