Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at El Camino Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to promote optimum imaging procedures, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radioactive medications and perform imaging procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective imaging results.
  • Position, transfer, and immobilize patients as required to ensure safe and comfortable imaging procedures.
  • Perform quality control on Nuclear Medicine equipment and maintain accurate documentation of patient exams and imaging results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Nuclear Medicine and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical competency.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine (NM) or NMTCB upon hire or within 4 months of hire.
  • California Department of Public Health (CDPH) License in Nuclear Medicine.
  • BLS certification.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
