About the Position: The Paideia School seeks a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join its facilities team. In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance on building components, landscape/grounds, and building systems.

Responsibilities include assembling various equipment, completing setups, breakdowns, and cleanup for meetings and special events, receiving and distributing freight deliveries, moving furniture and equipment, assisting with sheetrock, painting, and light carpentry projects, and maintaining building exteriors and grounds. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the accepted practices, processes, materials, and tools of the maintenance trades and experience in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and paint trades (HVAC experience preferred but not required).

The successful candidate will be able to safely operate small power equipment, explain problems simply and clearly, problem solve, take direction, and follow through as directed. This position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid Georgia driver's license, and 3+ years of general building maintenance experience. The estimated annual salary for this position is $52,000, based on location and experience. Benefits are offered for benefits-eligible positions. The Paideia School is an equal opportunity employer.
