Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled and customer-focused Meat Associate to join our team. As a Meat Associate, you'll play a critical role in helping customers and assisting in product receiving, inventory, and storage. You'll also be responsible for maintaining safety and sanitation standards in all meat product areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process deliveries, including breaking down loads and rotating cooler stock.
  • Weigh, price, and label products.
  • Stock cases and select products for customers.
  • Prepare valued-added products and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop product knowledge and make suggestive sales to customers.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and food safety.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
  • Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools used in the job.
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment.

Physical Requirements

*Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs

*Job cycles: continual max

*Lift/carry: 50 lbs.

*Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
*Category IV: Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.

*Max pull static: 20 lbs.
