We are seeking a skilled Freight Auditor to join our team at Old Dominion Freight. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for locating overages, shortages, and damaged freight, researching and resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Locate and investigate overages, shortages, and damaged freight
- Research and resolve issues related to freight claims
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Properly handle different types of freight, including Hazmat materials
- Prepare and process paperwork related to freight claims
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be proficient in handling different types of freight and have a strong understanding of logistics and transportation procedures.
