Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement environmental management systems for RCRA, CAA, and CWA, including reporting and data management.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements for diverse manufacturing facilities.
- Manage low-level radioactive material management and develop environmental sustainability programs.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Prepare and submit required environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
- Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste procedures, including coordination with external vendors.
- Lead efforts to minimize environmental impact through waste reduction, recycling programs, and energy conservation initiatives.
- Monitor air and water quality, hazardous material handling, and pollution prevention measures.
- Respond to environmental incidents, assist in investigations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay informed about regulatory compliance changes and ensure company policies and practices are updated accordingly.
- Provide environmental training and support to employees.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, occupational health and safety, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and hazardous materials management.
- Strong verbal and written communications, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience working within ISO9001 and ISO13485 certifications preferred.
Office, manufacturing, and warehouse; some manual labor and evening/weekend work may be required. Hazardous materials training as required.
