Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients and families on health-related topics and promote healthy behaviors.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Serve as a role model and mentor to other staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state and current BCLS certification.
  • Experience and Skills: 1-2+ years of experience in a surgery center or similar healthcare setting, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical and Cognitive Abilities: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and perform tasks that require concentration and attention to detail.
