Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related field, particularly in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sectors
General Skills
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a talent for managing multiple tasks and achieving results within tight deadlines
  • Proficient in navigating complex Quality System Processes and Procedures to guide the team in daily operations
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to analyze, summarize, and present information clearly using visual aids such as tables, graphs, Excel, Minitab, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership in problem-solving within a manufacturing support environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily routine testing activities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers
  • Ensure the development, implementation, and maintenance of procedures to comply with quality system requirements
  • Build cooperative relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and prioritize resource allocation
  • Coordinate acceptance testing activities and ensure service levels meet or exceed expectations
  • Work with team members to establish clear performance and development objectives
  • Provide coaching, leadership, and development opportunities to leverage team strengths
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace that empowers all participants to contribute fully to organizational goals
  • Engage in site-level initiatives and departmental strategic objectives
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate across functions and locations to define and implement improvements and changes across various areas
  • Manage routine Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC) testing, as well as the Equipment Control process within the Quality Control laboratory
  • Ensure compliance with QC Lab quality system and monitor business metrics in key responsibility areas, including testing, process monitoring, and equipment control
  • Develop inspection criteria and work instructions
  • Conduct process capability assessments
  • Provide technical expertise for the setup and future expansion of the Quality Control laboratory
  • Support Change Requests and Material Review Board activities
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary
