Role Summary and Responsibilities
The Infusion Nurse will be responsible for administering various therapies, including intravenous medications and blood products, while fostering a collaborative environment among the care team. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering patient care under the guidance of the Clinical Nurse Manager.
- Providing therapeutic and administrative services essential for patient care.
- Caring for adult and geriatric patients, ensuring a high standard of care.
Qualifications Required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an ADN or BSN degree.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the applicable state.
- BLS certification upon hire; Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred within the first year.
- Previous experience in a similar healthcare setting is advantageous, particularly in oncology.
