Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Psychiatric

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Psychiatric to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Travel Nurse RN Psychiatric to provide high-quality patient care in a psychiatric setting. As a Travel Nurse RN Psychiatric, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to psychiatric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements:
  • DC License
  • 1 Year Minimum experience
  • Bi-Polar, Major Depressive Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizo-Affective, PTSD, Blood glucose monitoring, Physical hold, Seclusion procedures, Psychoeducation experience
  • Skills required: Blood glucose monitoring
  • BLS
