Job Overview

TPIRC is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with respiratory conditions. This role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

About the Role

This position requires a medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school, completion of residency training in Pediatrics, and board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology. You will be responsible for providing expert medical care to pediatric patients with a focus on respiratory conditions, including but not limited to Cystic Fibrosis, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, Severe Asthma, and Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings presenting with respiratory symptoms.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex respiratory conditions.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric pulmonology through ongoing medical education and participation in research initiatives.
- Contribute to academic pursuits by publishing research findings, presenting at conferences, and mentoring mid-level providers and fellows.

Requirements

- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of residency training in Pediatrics.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology.
- State medical license and eligibility for medical licensure in California.
- DEA registration.
- Excellent clinical skills and diagnostic proficiency in pediatric pulmonary medicine.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Benefits

TPIRC offers a competitive salary range of $240,000-$300,000 per year, depending on experience.
