Flat Roofing Specialist

UCP-Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Flat Roofing Specialist to join our team. As a Flat Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofs using a variety of materials.

• Roof Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of flat roofs to identify damage and determine the best course of action for repair or replacement.
• Material Measurement: Measure roofs to determine the materials needed for repairs or replacement.
• Roof Installation and Repair: Install and repair various types of flat roofing materials, including EPDM, TPO, PVC, and modified bitumen.
• Safety Protocols: Ensure all safety protocols are followed on job sites, including the use of harnesses and other personal protective equipment.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients to provide updates on the progress of jobs and to answer any questions or concerns they may have.
• Tool Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and are ready to use when needed.
• Collaboration: Work with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, to complete jobs that require multiple areas of expertise.
• Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of time and materials used for each job to ensure accurate billing and cost estimates.

• Physical Fitness: Possess physical fitness and strength to climb ladders and work on roofs for extended periods of time.
• Roofing Experience: Have experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of flat roofing systems, including knowledge of roofing materials and techniques.
• Blueprint Reading: Be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications related to roofing projects.
• Safety Knowledge: Have knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to roofing work, including the use of personal protective equipment and fall protection equipment.
• Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.
• Time Management: Be able to work independently and in a team environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
• Adaptability: Be willing to work in varying weather conditions and at heights.
