Compensation:

$100,000 - $130,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all facets of litigation cases, from pre-trial discovery to trial and appeal, with an emphasis on efficiency and client objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to formulate effective case strategies.
  • Draft and present compelling motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare and conduct witness depositions effectively.
  • Represent clients confidently in court proceedings, focusing on achieving excellent outcomes.
  • Negotiate advantageous settlements for clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with partners, associates, and paralegals.
  • Stay informed on legal developments and best practices.
  • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal laws and statutes.
  • Prepare necessary legal documents, including motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses.
Qualifications:
  • Strong persuasive writing and verbal communication skills, along with time management and interpersonal abilities.
  • Previous experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration.
  • Active member of state and local bar associations in good standing.
  • Able to manage a heavy caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Required admission to the State Bar (Texas).
  • A minimum of two years of successful litigation experience.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and writing capabilities.
  • Outstanding oral advocacy skills with courtroom experience.
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service.
