POSITION SUMMARY:
- Lead the establishment of best practices in nutritional care.
- Act as a resource for clinical dietitians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Deliver direct patient care services.
- Oversee needs assessments, program creation, and performance evaluation.
- Conduct in-service training sessions.
- Facilitate medical staff training and contribute to nutrition research initiatives.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team to offer outpatient nutritional therapy for patients with diverse eating disorder conditions.
- Perform thorough initial nutritional evaluations.
- Create tailored nutrition rehabilitation strategies.
- Educate clients on nutritional practices.
- Engage in communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Participate in clinic staff discussions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR
- Bachelor's degree with a related specialty certification and 7 years of relevant experience.
- Registered Dietitian (ADA) certification is mandatory.
- Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania) certification is required.
