Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team at Heartland Veterinary Partners LLC. As a key member of our veterinary support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional pet grooming services, including bathing, fur and teeth brushing, nail trimming, and grinding.
  • Engage with clients to understand their expectations, pet special needs, and desired outcomes.
  • Ensure grooming rooms or designated spaces are clean, sanitized, safe, and secure.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other team members to provide comprehensive care for our patients.
  • Stay up-to-date on new techniques and trends in pet grooming.
Requirements
  • Experience in pet grooming or animal care.
  • Ability to work on weekends as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift patients up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients over 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Practices OSHA safety techniques, including proper PPE.
