Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for our residents, families, employees, and visitors. This will involve a range of tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, public areas, and equipment, as well as assisting with events and activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Environmental Services
- Ensure all areas of the facility are clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Use proper chemicals, tools, and equipment to clean assigned areas
- Assist with set-up and clean-up of events and activities
- Sanitation and Hygiene
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, public areas, and equipment
- Inventory and restock supply carts on a daily basis
- Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping closet
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work effectively with other staff members to achieve common goals
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and colleagues
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Housekeeping experience, domestic or commercial, preferred (1 year)
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Ability to follow instructions and work as a team player
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and prioritize tasks
