Responsibilities
  • Instruct classes as assigned, utilizing comprehensive lesson plans and course materials to ensure student success.
  • Assess students objectively for academic performance, providing constructive feedback to foster growth and development.
  • Utilize instructional plans effectively, supplementing approved student material when necessary, and maintaining the required class duration.
  • Create a positive classroom environment conducive to learning, serving as a role model for professionalism and conduct.
  • Provide accurate student records, grades, and attendance, facilitating tutoring and makeup work as needed.
  • Enforce campus policies and procedures, participating in ongoing faculty and professional development activities to improve instructional and professional skills.
Qualifications
  • Must be a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment.
  • Must have a minimum of an associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years full-time post-licensure clinical experience in physical therapy.
  • Must demonstrate contemporary expertise in assigned teaching areas and demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and student evaluation.
