Job Summary:

A Sonographer is responsible for using ultrasound equipment to visualize internal anatomy functions. Key duties include calibrating and manipulating equipment, conducting appointments, and discreetly notifying medical personnel of potential abnormalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment with proper technique
  • Provide correct patient identification, technique, education, and transportation
  • Serve as preceptor for imaging procedures
  • Meet all computer and documentation competencies
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience as an Echo Technologist
  • ARRT or RDMS certification
  • Exceptional communication and patient care skills
  • Aptitude toward the team philosophy
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
